1. Submissions should be no longer than 350-500 words.
Please use a text format to submit your article (.txt, .doc, .rtf)
Please do not format your document. In other words, don’t make columns, or make your text bold, italic, all caps, or underlined. Do not insert your photos. Send separately (see #4).
Photos or graphics need to be sent separately in one of the following formats: jpg, gif, tiff, or pdf. Please submit photos in their original size or larger.
All advertising and photos should be submitted in grayscale if possible.
PDF's can be submitted for events and advertising. It is best to convert them to grayscale before submitting if possible.
Please e-mail your submissions to: editor@backcountrymessenger.com and use the word Messenger as the subject (the first time) to bypass our spam blocker and get your name and email into our system.
